I want to give you the gift of storytelling. As you view your life through the lens of a writer, you’ll see bravery, survivorship and heroism at every age you’ve ever been. If you don’t know yourself, it’s hard to trust yourself . The part of you who was a victim (or a perpetrator or a rescuer) is literally dying for a gentle hug, a good long listen and the warm embrace of acceptance, along with the reassurance that your adult self has got this - An open, inclusive heart is a super power, allowing you to feel your way through life — and in a pitch black room, eeling is the only way up and out, right? You can't find the light switch unless you can feel your way around. Aristotle did not say an unexamined life is unpleasant, or disappointing - he said an unexamined life is not worth living. Class meets 5 times via ZOOM - Tuesday nights, 7:00 - 8:30 PM Central Time - 90 Minutes
